1. How long is a Starz Program Class?
Starz Classes are typically 45 minute sessions. This will vary by school.
2. How often are Starz Program Classes?
Starz Classes are typically once per week. Classes typically run from September to June (during the school year) unless you are enrolled in a session program.
3. What is the cost of Starz Program Classes?
A weekly, 45 min class is $55 per month. Tuition rates vary based on Starz Area and school.
4. If my child can't attend a class, do I still have to pay?
Yes, once your child is enrolled in Starz, this space is saved just for them.
5. What is the cancellation process?
Starz requires a 2 week written notice to cancel classes. Please send requests to shine@starzprogram.com
6. What are the "extra fees" involved?
The only fee’s that are mandatory to be a part of our program is the $35 registration fee and the monthly $55 fee. The “extra’s” Recital and/or Family Fun Day (depending on your area). We will email you once these events are approaching and you will be able to let us know if you would like to “Opt Out” of these events.
7. What are the class sizes?
Classes range from 6 students to 10. Once our classes reach 10 students the class is full and your child will be added to a waiting list. In some rare cases class size could go over 10 in which case a second instructor or assistant would be provided.
8.How do you communicate with families?
Our main point of communication is via email. It is very important to check your emails from Starz and read them entirely. If you have gone a month without hearing from us via email please give us a call and make sure we have the correct email on file.
9.Do I need to purchase anything extra?
No, however for dance class we highly recommend you to purchase dance attire along with shoes. For our cheer classes we highly recommend pom poms. Please visit our STARZ STORE for your needs.
