Sarah Farmer
Owner
As the Richmond Area Owner, Sarah provides strategic oversight and support across all areas of the business. Sarah has over 15 years of experience operating children’s education and enrichment programs across the country and loves to see the positive impact of Starz across the Richmond area. Sarah and her husband Will have two young daughters who are proud Starz students.
Jessica Hogge
Area Director
As Area Director, Jessica manages the day-to-day operations of the program in Richmond, including class scheduling, partner relations, and coaching instructors. Jessica holds a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Radford University and brings a strong passion for fitness and education to her role. With four years of experience at Starz, Jessica consistently finds joy in her work, driving healthy lifestyle initiatives and educational excellence.
Natalia
Instructor
Natalia is currently an undergraduate student at VCU studying psychology. She studied ballet for 10 years and started teaching dance in 2019. She also has a background in musical theater. When she's not teaching with the Starz program, Natalia enjoys taking local dance classes and exploring nature trails and parks around the city.
Raven
Instructor
Raven is currently studying Interior Design at VCU. She has a love for working with children and played several sports in her youth, including basketball, softball, and soccer. Raven aspires to be a role model and inspiration for younger generations at Starz and beyond.
Zeariah
Instructor
Zeariah is currently majoring in international studies, focusing on social justice at VCU in hopes of becoming a policy and grant writer after law school. She spends all of her time working hands-on with future generations, like students of Starz. In addition to instructing with Starz, Zeariah teaches at Releve Dance Studio and dances for Goldrush at VCU.
Hanasia
Instructor
Hanaisa is currently attending VCU and is studying as a health services major with the intent on working in health care administration. She has a background in musical theater and has experienced and practiced various forms of dance and sports. Alongside the Starz program, she is a nanny and sings in restaurants around Richmond.
Jacobo
Instructor
Jacobo is currently studying Computer Science with a minor in Artificial Intelligence at VCU. He has been passionate about sports for as long as he can remember and enjoys staying active through activities like soccer and volleyball, where he also has experience mentoring kids. Outside of sports, Jacobo loves traveling, spending time with friends, and playing video games.
